I’m SUPER Suspicious Of The GOP Dropping Voter Registration Efforts In Swing States

Just giving up? I don’t think so.
I know it’s ostensibly because of the SAC registration fraud they’ve got going on, but to completely stop? Not even hire a more reputable firm? Obama’s leading in pretty much every swing state, they can’t afford to stop registering Republican voters.
Or are they that confident that their voter suppression methods are going to work? They’re planning on training tens of thousands of “poll watchers” to harass and hound minority voters. I’m sure they’ll pester a few token white voters to keep up appearances but it will be mostly black and Latino people.
My guess is that the GOP is hoping that all the suppression efforts will be so diffuse that putting a stop to it or challenging the results afterwards will be almost impossible. And if it does go to the Supreme Court again, well, we know how that worked out for them last time.
They are upset they got caught, so “officially” they have stopped. But I’ll bet some money “trickles down” to the local level through back channels and unofficial efforts to get out the vote will be done behind the scenes, No dirty trick will be off limit this time. Ok so I’m paranoid, being paranoid doesn’t mean they aren’t out to get you.
