Douchebag Of The Day: Scott “She’s WHITE!” Brown
on September 25, 2012 at 8:27 pmAwarded for Scott BROWN’s (ironic, isn’t it?) continued assault on Elizabeth Warren’s race. Warren’s mother is part Cherokee and Brown insists that she used this to get special consideration in her education and employment. So far, no one has provided a smidgen of proof that this is the case but that hasn’t stopped Brown from playing on white resentment that a minority might have benefited in a country drowning in white privilege.
What makes this so awful is Brown’s demand that Warren can’t possibly be part Native American because, just look at her! She’s WHITE! This was his tactic during their first debate:
“Professor Warren claimed she was a Native American, a person of color and as you can see, she is not…she checked the box claiming to be Native American and clearly she is not.”
Ah. She’s not Native American because she doesn’t LOOK Native American.
Sen. Brown, allow me to introduce you to Principal Chief Bill John Baker, current elected leader of the Cherokee Nation:
Notice anything? Like the fact that he’s as white as it gets? He’s the leader of the entire Cherokee Nation. Apparently his color is not an issue.
Brown represents the pervasive shallowness of the conservative movement. They are so hung up on trivial and superficial details, they can’t form a coherent platform. Or sentence.
For being so pathetic that you have to rely on racism to defeat a white woman, Congratulations, Scott Brown! You’re a douchebag!!

And an update, this was just posted on his Facebook page a few hours ago:
“This morning the Muslim Brotherhood warned the United States that if the United States continued meddling in Egypt, Libya, and other potential hot spots in the Middle East, they intend to cut off America’s supply of 7-11 and Motel 6 managers. If this action does not yield sufficient results, cab drivers will be next, followed by Dell, AT&T and AOL customer service reps.
Finally, if all else fails, they have threatened not to send us anymore presidents either. It’s gonna get ugly, people.”

I live in MA, and have had to listen to this barking moron’s ads for weeks now. I have never heard another republican work so hard at not mentioning his party affiliation as this fool has. His constant “I’m working for you”, “I’m independent”, bullshit is really getting on my nerves. Then during the first debate he actually bragged about being “the most bipatisan” senator. With a 95% rethug voting record I guess he might qualify but that isn’t saying much. I have resisted the urge to email his campaign as I don’t want to give him my email address and it wouldn’t help. Ok, enough of a rant.

My folks were visiting last week from out of state, we watched the debate and I told them that any time someone brings up Brown’s anti-woman voting record he gets all huff’n'puff with that “how-dare-you-I-have-two-daughters” crap…halfway thru the debate my stepdad said, “wow, you’re right, he’s done that three times already.” Over on the WBZ website they had a page to submit questions, which of course turned into name-calling from the right, and one jerk said — get this — “how can he be anti-woman? He’s got a wife!” Oy…
