Addictinginfo reports:

The report is over 400 pages detailing out how career officers failed to pass along information, creating a disconnect between the Phoenix field office and the ATF, and in turn with the Department of Justice. The DoJ was unaware of this policy, the information on it given to them was discussing it as a tactic no longer in service. Even as late as November 2010 any discussionsĀ on the tactics were done inĀ the past tense by both the national ATF as well as the DoJ itself. It was a massive block of information from field to senior officials.

Oops. I’m sure Darrell Issa will issue a public apology for the months long witch hunt against Holder any time now…

Barring that, this will be quietly swept under the rug by the right wing echo chamber and, several months from now, they will start talking about how Holder was held in contempt of Congress. They will, of course, forget to mention he was innocent and it will become enshrined in the conservative mindset that Holder was up to no good. Count on it.

The truth? Who needs that? I only needed to smear Holder and Obama.
