Addictinginfo reports on yet another “Christian” company that doesn’t like contraceptives:

Hobby Lobby Stores, Inc. has filed a lawsuit opposing the Health and Human Services contraception mandate because it would conflict with the owner’s religious beliefs.

The short article goes on to posit that a “Scientologist” company could happily ban psychological therapy because they don’t believe in it. And, once the precedent is set, how long before corporations start declaring an “official” religion? They’re legally “people” now and people can choose whatever religion they want. Apple can declare that it is now a “Christian Scientist” and will no longer provide health insurance for its employees. Oh sure the CEO and the rest of the high muckity-mucks won’t actually be Christian Scientists themselves but the corporation is so, sorry!, no insurance. Hey look at that! That’s hundreds of millions of dollars saved! What a coincidence!

If you don’t think this is coming, you have more faith in the current far right Supreme Court than I do.

Chemotherapy? No, you are only covered for healing prayers.
