Guess I’m Still A Conspiracy-Mongering Anti-Semite (But Not Really)

Interesting…Just me suggesting that Israel was preparing to attack Iran before the election magically revealed that I was a Jew hating anti-Semite. I was shocked to find out I was secretly a self-hating Jew. It was so secret I hadn’t even known myself! Turns out, though, that i have tons of company in the “People who think Israel is going to attack Iran and do it soon” category. Via The Telegraph:
Battleships, aircraft carriers, minesweepers and submarines from 25 nations are converging on the strategically important Strait of Hormuz in an unprecedented show of force as Israel and Iran move towards the brink of war.
Western leaders are convinced that Iran will retaliate to any attack by attempting to mine or blockade the shipping lane through which passes around 18 million barrels of oil every day, approximately 35 per cent of the world’s petroleum traded by sea.
Seems all these countries think Israel’s going to attack before the election as well. What a bunch of anti-Semites!
In preparation for any pre-emptive or retaliatory action by Iran, warships from more than 25 countries, including the United States, Britain, France, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, will today begin an annual 12-day exercise.
The war games are the largest ever undertaken in the region.

Or, could it just be that people who immediately cry “anti-Semite!” really just want to shut down the conversation and give themselves an excuse to turn a blind eye to Israeli war-mongering?
Naaaaaah! Who would be stupid enough to do that?
You know, if I had 3 year old children who sat and squabbled over one item and began hitting, pushing, and such – they would both be in time out and in severe danger of having their hand swatted when they tried to snatch the item again. but somehow when we are talking nations instead of children, land instead of a toy, and killing people instead of hitting and pushing them IT IS ANTI-SEMITIC to suggest that there is something wrong with Israels behavior. If I would not allow my children to act that way, why do I have to support an entire nation acting that way? I mean I am all in support of Israel having it’s own nation and protecting it, but does that mean I can’t feel the Palestinian people deserve a place to call home too? can’t I feel sympathy for one group without hating the other? why do we live in a world where we have to give everything if we want to give anything? does it really have to be an all or nothing thing?
A Semite is a member of the group of Caucasoid peoples who speak a Semitic language, including the Jews and Arabs as well as the ancient Babylonians, Assyrians, and Phoenicians. So to be an anti-semite you would dislike any white person from the middle east. So technically your anti-Jew, not anti-semite. Hope this helps!
