Sometimes called the preview for the official employment numbers, the ADP National Jobs Report was released today, and it shows the addition of 201,000 private-sector jobs in the month of August. It also revises the number of jobs added in July, to 173,000 from 163,000. August’s report far outpaces previous estimates; a Bloomberg survey of 41 economists, forecast an increase of 140,00 jobs.
ADP is obviously not the Dept. of Labor and they’re not always accurate but unless ADP really dropped the ball, this is HORRIBLE news for Republicans. They were banking on a lousy report to make Obama look bad.
How is it that our “liberal” media fails to pick up on and castigate the right for this out loud call for hardship and failure? Funny how that works, isn’t it?
Hopefully Sept and, especially, October will be good ones too!
