And possibly hit New Orleans instead. It’s not strong enought to do the kind of damage Katrina did but I guarantee that if it was, the response from Obama’s FEMA would be vastly superior to Bush’s. Regardless, the right will be more than happy to give Bush all the credit anyway, because…? Who knows? I’m sure they’ll make something up.
Also, expect to hear about how Isaac was never actually going to hit Tampa and it was all a plot by Obama even though the entire planet was looking at the same satellite images and any sane meteorologist would have made the same warning. Rush started this stupidity early so he must be a like a pig in slop right now.
Lastly, expect to hear all about how God diverted Isaac away from the god-fearing holy men of the GOP Convention blablabla.

“Lastly, expect to hear all about how God diverted Isaac away from the god-fearing holy men of the GOP Convention blablabla.”
RWW has the news, prayer saved the GOP convention…

If they are so confident that the power of prayer has steered the hurricane away from Tampa, I wonder why they haven’t prayed so fervently to end poverty, endless wars, child victimization, abortion, rape, teenage sex/STDs, end hunger, stop the drought, or to bring peace & prosperity to the planet…
I’m sure they’ll work in the biblical reference to Isaac. Do you remember him?
God told Abraham was told to sacrifice his son Isaac on an altar, just to prove he was faithful. At the last minute god stopped Abraham from cutting Isaac’s throat. Just because well, god was a heck of a prankster during those old testament days.
Now god saved the Republican Convention at the last minute. Dollars to donuts, I bet they’ll work this in somehow.
Are they also going to supply a reason as to why it is going to hit New Orleans? If their prayers are so damn powerful, why didn’t they pray it away from all populated areas? Give me a break….
