RIP Neil Armstrong, The First Human To Walk On The Moon
on August 25, 2012 at 4:45 pmThere will be much said about Neil Armstrong over the next few days and it will all be said better than anything I can come up with. Instead, I’ll just post my two favorite videos of a hero for the entire human race.
The moment we reached out and stepped foot on another world:
And Neil Armstrong, 79, showing us how to deal with conspiracy nuts and trolls who are stupid enough to show their face in the real world instead of hiding behind the internet:
And just as a bonus for you fellow sci-fi geeks out there, one of the coolest moments in Dr. Who giving a big nod to Neil Armstrong’s accomplishment:
One day, when the human race escapes the confines of the Earth, we will carry his name to the far corners of the universe. Not bad for a self professed “white socks, pocket protector, nerdy engineer.” Not bad at all.

That was actually Buzz that belted the reporter. Still all kind of awesome though.
DOH!
