Cry Baby Of The Day: Mitt ‘Surrender Monkey’ Romney
on August 10, 2012 at 6:02 pmAfter months of mud slinging and lies that just refused to stick to his opponent, Mitt Romney is begging for mercy.
Think Progress reports on a comment Romney made during an interview with Chuck Todd:
[O]ur campaign would be — helped immensely if we had an agreement between both campaigns that we were only going to talk about issues and that attacks based upon — business or family or taxes or things of that nature.” [...]
“[W]e only talk about issues. And we can talk about the differences between our positions and our opponent’s position.” Romney said of his own campaign: “[O]ur ads haven’t gone after the president personally. … [W]e haven’t dredged up the old stuff that people talked about last time around. We haven’t gone after the personal things.”
No, just your surrogates and “unaffiliated” Super PACs, Mitt. And you, too, for that matter. What? Did you think we all forgot about the phony Solyndra “scandal?” The “his views are foreign” race baiting? Your tacit endorsement of Birtherism? That was all fair game even though you knew it was all blatant lies, wasn’t it?
But what changed? Oh, right! None it stuck but the truth about your time at Bain Capital and the questions about your tax returns have stuck like super glue! No wonder you’re negotiating terms of surrender.
For being able to dish it out but not take it, Congratulations, Mitt Romney! You’re my cry baby of the day!

Being able to dish it out but not take it–that just makes him a “typical” Republican.
Boo Hoo
Cry baby.
