The Jim Henson Company has dropped the “Christian” fast food chain like a boiled egg.
Here’s the statement from their FB page:
The Jim Henson Company has celebrated and embraced diversity and inclusiveness for over fifty years and we have notified Chick-Fil-A that we do not wish to partner with them on any future endeavors. Lisa Henson, our CEO is personally a strong supporter of gay marriage and has directed us to donate the payment we received from Chick-Fil-A to GLAAD. (http://www.glaad.org/)
I’m sure the Right will complain about Miss Piggy’s assault on religious freedom and Kermit insulting Christianity but the Muppets will be around long after this closing chapter of the right’s efforts to demonize homosexuals.
Not matter what else you do, always remember how hard the GOP and the right wing fought against the rights of the LGBT community. In 20 years they will insist that were for it all along and that liberals stood in the way. Count on it.

I love how Mr. Cathy only defended Traditional Marriage in his statements. In a Liberal’s mind, that essentially means he attack his opposition. Man, thinking can be hard.
