I do that sometimes. I predict that, unlike the last several mass shootings, the GOP will drag this one out as long as possible and make as much noise as possible. They have so much momentum built up towards turning the country into the Wild West that there is no danger of reversing that trend for the moment BUT the more news cycles that are consumed by it, the less attention will paid to Romney’s tax returns. The GOP is extremely concerned about that story and will take any opportunity to change the topic long enough for people to forget.
How much do you want to bet that the shooter was inspired by Limbaugh’s raving about Bane/Bain?
