According to the latest bit of “gossip” from the Drudge Report, that hackiest of right wing hacks, Obama might have lied about his college record and worked for the CIA instead.
According to ThinkProgress:
The WND article, written by washed up fictionauthor Jerome Corsi, alleges that there is a discrepancy in Columbia University’s records which “casts doubt” on Obama’s well-documented two year tenure at the New York school. He then inexplicably suggests that the reason for the “missing year” is that Obama spent it in Pakistan as an agent for the Central Intelligence Agency:
Swirling amid the black hole of information are a host of theories about Obama’s whereabouts – particularly during the 1981-1982 school year –including speculation he was working for the CIA in Pakistan.
Well OK then! How bad ass would it be if our president was also a spy during the height of the Cold War? Hollywood has made literally hundreds of movies lionizing Cold War spies, how in the world would this work against Obama?
Teabagger/Birther/idiot: “Aha! He lied about his college record!”
Sane person: “Well, yeah. He was a spy and served his country in one of the most dangerous ways possible. Do you have a problem with that?”
Teabagger/Birther/idiot: “But he lied!”
Sane person: “Yes, spies generally don’t advertise what they do even after they’re no longer spies. It’s kind of how that works.”
Teabagger/Birther/idiot: “But…but…but…he lied about his college transcript!! We have to impeach him!”
Sane person: “You ate paint chips as a child didn’t you?”
I hope the fringey right keeps this up. Nothing exposes crazy like letting crazy have its head.

I’ve read about this CIA Obama for quite some time, and not from right-wing sources. Obama is no liberal or progressive by any means. He’s covered for the banksters (no convictions). He’s covering for the torturers. So, what’s so strange about a CIA connection for him? It, and his charisma, would explain his fast rise in elected office. I’m not saying that it’s true, but it’s not as implausible (patriotic, or cool) as you are saying, Justin. Obama’s done a LOT of things right. But he’s protecting malefactors.

please for the sake of sanity, he’s a man like the rest os us (except the women). he’snot a saint but by God or by Man he is the best we’ve got right now. Give him his dues.
